Motorola Razr 50 Geekbench scores are equivalent to Razr 40

Motorola Razr 50 Geekbench listing reveals that the new MediaTek 7300X is equivalent to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 used on the Razer 40.

Motorola is all set to launch its upcoming Razr 50 series. Both Razr 50 and Razr 50 Ultra have already grabbed the necessary certificates indicating imminent launch. Now, the standard Razer 50 is spotted on benchmarking website Geekbench. Although the Tenaa listing has already confirmed Razer 50 specifications, the Geekbench listing further confirms it.

According to the the Geekbench listing, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core chipset, where the primary four cores are clocked at 2.5GHzm while the remaining four cores operate at 2.0GHz. The motherboard codename is “aito”, suggesting a MediaTek chipset inside. If the market rumors are believed, the smartphone will be equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 7300x SoC, which is not yet announced.

In addition to that, the smartphone runs on Android 14 carrying 8GB RAM under the hood. If we speak about the scores, the single-core score is 1,033, while the multi-core score remains 2,751. Based on scores, the new chip is a mid-ranger, nearly equivalent to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 used on the Razr 40.

Motorola Razr 50 Expected Specification

Based on the Tenaa listing, the Motorola Razr 50 will arrive with a 6.9-inch 2640×1080 OLED primary display along with a 3.6-inch 1066×1056 OLED external display. Both the internal and external screens support a 1.07 billion color display. In terms of camera, the Motorola Razr 50 boasts a dual 50MP + 13MP rear cameras. The front side is surrounded by a 32MP selfie shooter.

Furthermore, the device is packed with a dual 1074 mAh + 2875 mAh (3949 mAh), most probably a 4200 mAh combined pack with 33W fast charging support. There are multiple RAM & storage variants with 8GB, 10GB, 12GB, 16GB RAM & 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB storage variants, according to the Tenaa listing.

The device dimensions are 171.3 x 73.9 x 7.2mm and weighs around 188 grams. All the essential connectivity options are available, including 5G support. The question most netizens ask is, “When these smartphones (Razr 50 & Razer 50 Ultra) will be launched?” The upcoming Razr 50 series is rumored to launch next month.
