Lately, we informed about Realme’s upcoming phones V60 and V60s. Finally, these smartphones are officially listed on the Realme China website. As we already know, these are entry-level 5G smartphones. So, the specifications are pretty basic. However, these smartphones have different names, but their appearance and specifications are identical.
Regarding the specs, both smartphones are equipped with a 6.67-inch HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate and 720 x 1604p resolution. The marketed brightness is 625 nits, which can go as low as 1 nits. Under the hood, both of these smartphones are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. The chipset carries an octa-core CPU, where two primary Cortex-A76 cores are clocked at 2.4GHz, while the remaining six Cortex-A55 perform at 2.0GHz.
Furthermore, these smartphones carry a 5,000 mAh battery inside, which, according to the previous data, is supported by a standard 10W charger. Speaking of the design, the rear side is surrounded by a quad-camera module, but there is a single 32MP sensor is fitted inside. The back is very clean with the “Realme” logo engraved at the rear bottom. At the front, there is a single 8MP punch-hole camera for selfies. Overall, the design is good enough considering the price with minimalist bezels around the corners.
The good thing is that both smartphones are IP64-certified against water & dust. In addition to that, there are multiple storage & RAM variants with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. There is an additional 8GB of virtual RAM, which is nothing more than a marketing gimmick. These smartphones run on Android 14 based on Realme UI 5.0 out of the box. All the necessary connectivity options are available, including dual 5G + 5G sim card support. A side mounted fingerprint scanner in there for security purpose.
Both smartphones are available in two colors: Star Gold and Turquoise. Despite having so many similarities, there is a pricing gap. Realme V60’s base variant costs 1,199 CNY and goes up to 1,399 CNY. On the other side, the Realme V60s is priced at 1,399 CNY for the base variant and goes up to 1,799 CNY for the top-end variant.
