Vivo Y200 5G Key Specs Revealed by China Telecom

Vivo is all set to launch the new V200 series smartphones on May 20. So far, we know three smartphones under this series, named Vivo Y200, Y200 GT and Y200T. Some of the specs have been already revealed by the company. Today, the standard Y200 has been spotted on the China Telecom product library disclosing major configurations.


According to the listing, the Vivo Y200 5G carrying model number V2343A is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 (SM6450) processor, which is a major upgrade over its predecessor. The last generation Y200 smartphone was introduced with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset under the hood. The camera department is taken care of by a dual 50MP + 2MP at the rear and an 8MP front-facing shooter. Apart from that, there is a bigger 6,000 mAh battery compared to the 4,800 mAh found on its predecessor. The 3C listing already confirmed 80W fast charging support for Y200 (V2343A).

Furthermore, the Vivo Y200 5G supports a 6.72-inch display at 2400 x 1080p Full HD+ resolution. There are multiple storage and color variants. The base variant comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage and goes up to 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. The smartphone comes in three colors: Blossoms, Red Orange, and Bright Night. Regarding its dimensions, the phone measures 164.36×74.75×7.61mm and weighs around 187 grams. The software department is controlled by Android 14 based on Origin OS.

The listing also sheds some light on its pricing. The base variant starts from 1,799 CNY, roughly converted into 250 USD or INR 20,500. However, this is just indicated pricing, not the final pricing set by the company. Last but not least, the 3.5mm audio jack is still present on this device. Overall, the Y200 is all set to make its debut in China.
